The essential guide to Australia’s galleries, Art Almanac lists most art galleries and their current exhibitions, Australia wide. The Art Almanac is published 11 times per year with the December/January edition produced as a double issue.

Current art events are featured in the Art Almanac in alphabetical lists, organised regionally and cross referenced with related display advertisements. Each month a number of pages are devoted to editorial profiles which highlight current exhibitions with an image and artists’ statement. An artists index, in which over 1,700 artists are cross-referenced with the exhibiting gallery, is included as well as gallery maps cross referenced to gallery listings.

Art Almanac has an established record of reliability and accuracy of information and has been in circulation for over 30 years. The editorial aims of Art Almanac‘s profiles are to highlight the diversity, thought process, issues, styles and techniques employed by practising Australian artists today.
